Hey tall babes! Since this whole Covid-19 pandemic has us staying in the house all day, everyday, I have rediscovered why we all love active wear leggings. I think we can all agree that they aren’t just for working out. Today I wanted to talk a little bit about my favorite place for purchasing leggings, which is Old Navy.
Now if you are plus size and not necessarily tall, then you can shop the active wear in the plus size section no problem. But if you are both plus size and tall like your girl, you won’t find any plus size active wear bottoms in long length. Instead, you will want to shop the active wear in the Women Tall section. I know what you’re thinking, they stop at a size 20. But trust me on this one, you want to give this a try. I fluctuate between a size 22 and a 24 and I purchase my leggings from Old Navy in a size Tall XXL. Most of their active wear offers four way stretch for ease of movement which also affords a little bit of wiggle room when it comes to fit.
Not only are Old Navy Tall leggings long enough, but I love that they offer a variety of prints and styles. Not just your basic black. Another tip, always go for the high waist style. I am not necessarily long waisted, however, I like to make sure my pants are pulled up over the tummy and the tush!
Over the years, I have purchased several pairs of both leggings and yoga pants from Old Navy. All in a size Tall XXL and my expectations have been meet for both size and comfort. The four way stretch also helps hold you in place and the flat lock seams prevent chaffing, for you know, when you are actually working out. What I love most about this particular pair is the motto detail on the hip and thigh area which gives them a little bit of a street vibe.

Depending on how much longer we are in quarantine, you should definitely check back and see what other comfy looks I’ll be putting together. Stay safe out there and don’t forget to wash your hands!
