Shades of Gray

Sorry ladies, no Christian Grey here, just gray skies and a day chilly enough to be draped in this amazing charcoal gray sweater dress by Nine West.

I’m probably the only southern girl I know who looks forward to winter and colder weather.  If you live in a location that has a proper winter, I know you’re probably screaming for spring right about now.  But bear with me because here in Georgia winter weather is hardly a thing of consistency.  With fluctuating temperatures, light layers are usually the order of the day.  However, I was fortunate to have a day cold enough to allow me to wear my sweater dress without breaking a sweat.

Colder temperatures also means boot season and I take advantage of every day I get to wear my boots.  For a bit of added warmth, I paired this dress with ponte-knit leggings from Old Navy, which come in tall and are the perfect length for my statuesque frame.  I’ve topped off this gray look with my signature silver accessories for an added bit of shine!
