Hey beautiful people, I can hardly believe that it is time for the Sephora Spring Sale already and with all the craziness going on in the world right now, I know I could use a little retail therapy. Since I’m still working from home and pretty much still social distancing here at the house, I’ve taken this time as an opportunity to really get into my skincare. Just give me all the skincare products! I also haven’t let the fact that I’ve barely worn any makeup since the start of the pandemic stop me from buying new makeup. I’m pretty sure the day is coming that I will have to return to venturing out into the world on a daily basis (although, true tea, I absolutely love working from home and would happily never go back into my office). But let’s be honest, it’s not like I need an excuse to buy new makeup.
So let’s get into it. Here is a list of products I’m either loving or looking forward to trying. I like to view the Sephora sale as the time to grab back ups of my favorite holy grail products, purchase those items that are sold exclusively at Sephora and splurge on more pricey items that don’t often go on sale.
Skincare
Like I mentioned, I’ve been focusing quite a bit on skincare and a sale is the time to repurchase a few of the clean beauty items I’ve been loving.
- With summer time around the corner I definitely had to get a back up of the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Ultra Fine Mist. I keep this face mist in my skincare fridge and it is perfect to give my skin a spritz of hydration at the end of a hot summer day.
- If I hadn’t just recently purchased the Sleep Tight Firming Night Balm and the Very Cherry Clean Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm from the Farmacy website, I surely would have added another of The Mighties Antioxidant Powered Hydration Kit. But I really wanted a full size of the sleep tight and to try the cherry version of the Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm which I’ve been loving.
- I’ve also been waiting for this sale so I can try out Sol de Janerio’s new Bom Dia Bright Body Cream. I’m a big fan of the Brazilian Bum Bum Cream and I’m sure their new one will be just as delicious.
- And while we’re talking about Sol de Janerio, I might as well add my favorite lip balm, Brazilian Kiss Cupuacu Lip Butter to my shopping cart, right? I did!
Makeup
There are really only a few makeup items on my radar at the current moment and all of them are new items that I’ve been wanting to try.
- Westman Atelier is a clean beauty brand that I heard about on Michele Wang’s YouTube channel. I really appreciate their commitment to skin nourishing, clean makeup. As a women over forty, I also appreciate cream makeup and I’ve got my eye on their Baby Cheeks Blush Sticks in Poppet.
- Another new item on my radar is the Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint by Fenty Beauty. I am really late to the Fenty Beauty party, so far the only other product I’ve tried is the Fat Water Pore Defining Toner Serum, which I do really enjoy.
- I love the staying power of the Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation so I’m eager to try is the Dior Backstage Face & Body Powder because this powder claims to be infused in a gel base that results in a “non-powdery” effect.
- Another item that I was influenced to try is the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Spray.
- Oh there is one more item that has been on my recommendations list before and that is the Sephora Pro Bronzer Brush because the bigger and fluffier the brush, the better!
Fragrance
I have been waiting for this sale just so I can try this cult fragrance. And even though you probably wouldn’t normally think of this particular fragrance as a spring/summer fragrance, I tend to lean towards woody, spicy scents all year round.
- The scent is By The Fireplace by Replica. I debated long and hard between it and Jazz Club, but now, I just don’t know, I may need to go back and add Jazz Club to my cart as well!
Hair
Ok, the final item that had me waiting on this sale is a hair product. That’s right, you guys, don’t forget about hair products during this sale.
- The one hair product I have been waiting to get is the Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Shampoo, whew, say that three times fast!
- But don’t forget that my beloved Qhemet Biologics is also available at Sephora. My three favorites from this brand are
- The last hair item that never ever goes on sale is the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer. I have been diffusing my hair more often lately and I really think I have been sleeping on this blow dryer because I have been really happy with the results.
Well there you have it, everything that I recommend as well as what’s in my shopping cart! Be sure to leave me a comment and let me know what’s in your shopping cart!
