Hello glam fam, I am back with another skincare routine. Since I’ve already shared with you guys what I’m keeping in my skincare fridge and my morning skincare routine, seemed only logical that I should also share my current night time routine. Being at home everyday due to the shelter in place made applying makeup less necessary and left a lot more time to focus on my skincare.
As I mentioned, I haven’t been wearing much, if any, makeup due to the shelter in place. However, Pre-covid I would first remove my makeup using the BareMinerals Oil Obsessed Total Cleansing Oil. This is the only cleansing oil I’ve ever tried and I’m pretty “obsessed” with the way it works. It glides on dry skin and quickly breaks down makeup. After applying a little water to my face, it becomes a milky emulsion that washes away the make up. I would then follow up with a second cleanse using the Glow Recipe Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser and my FOREO Luna 3.
This step is basically the same as in my morning skincare routine. Before applying skincare products I like to re-hydrate my skin with a spritz of the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Ultra Fine Mist.
Step three is also the same as my morning routine. I tone my skin using the Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Pore Tight Toner to prep my skin so it is ready to receive the rest of my skincare products.
I follow the toner with either the BareMinerals Skinlongevity Serum or the Korres Mediterranean Multi Vitamin Miracle Milk Serum. These serums hydrate the skin to help minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for a more youthful appearance. I will also apply BareMinerals Skinlongevity Vital Power Eye Gel Cream. I believe BareMinerals has rebranded the Longevity Vital Power collection to the Longevity Long Life Herb collection.
I top my serum and eye cream with a very light application of SKINN Luminous Oil with Manuka Honey and Vitamin C and the Kora Organics Noni Radiant Eye Oil to seal in the moisture from the serum and cream. Honestly, depending on my mood and what I am feeling like my skin needs, I may apply the oils before applying my serum or creams.
I may not perform this last step nightly, but I try to treat my skin at least one or two nights a week. I am currently rotating between the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask and the Farmacy Sleep Tight Night Balm. The Watermelon Glow can be used as a sleeping mask with a light application or as a wash off mask at the beginning of your skincare routine with a thicker application. The Sleep Tight Night Balm is a recent discovery that can also be used during the day with a lighter application for more hydration. As you can see in the video I applied a layer at the end of my night time routine and followed with a face massage using my rose quartz guasha.
I hope you found something in this post helpful. Let me know if you are doing anything different in your skincare routine and what products you swear by. Feel free to reach out with any questions and as always thank you so much for reading.
