While we are all suffering through what looks like might be the craziest year ever, we can at least take comfort in the notion that the year is half over. And since we are midway through July, I thought I would share a handful of completely random things that I have really been enjoying throughout the month of June.
And first on the list would definitely have to be my reading glasses from Lane Bryant. I can’t tell you how may times I have been in the store (pre-covid) and noticed the readers up at the counter with the impulse buy items and never bothered to pick them up. Reason being, I had planned on getting my eyes examined and likely getting bifocals. However, once covid hit those plans went out the window. So I scooped them up while doing a little online shopping and they have been a life saver. I was having a hard time deciding between these two tortoise prints, so I got both. I swear the fine print on everything just kept getting smaller and smaller! LOL.
Next up, is my “Because Quarantine” stemless wine glass. This glass was a gift from a friend for us to use during our social distancing happy hour zoom calls and to remember this crazy time by. And I absolutely love it. I’m going to need a complete set of these. If you’ve been watching my Instagram stories then you already know that I’ve been drinking way more than wine out of this glass.
Speaking of wine, I’m still hoarding my last bottle of this next item on my list which is the Oliver Winery & Vinyards Peach Pie wine. I’ve been checking but can’t seem to find this seasonal wine anywhere in my city. Although my cousin said she found it in her local Kroger, north of Atlanta. I can’t say enough how much I LOVE this wine!!!! I will definitely be ready at the beginning of next summer and looking to purchase it by the case full. Luck for me, this winery also makes a Cherry Moscato that is also pretty tasty and seems to be more readily available. So I have stocked up on a few bottles of that.
Another limited item that I can’t seem to find in-store anymore, but am praying they add to their regular line up is the Angie’s BoomChickaPop Rose Kettle Corn! First of all, popcorn is my favorite snack, so when I saw this pink bag of rose flavored kettle corn, I knew I had to try it. This popcorn tasted better than I imagined it would and I immediately went back and purchased 3 more bags. Angie, if you are listening, please keep making this delicious kettle corn. OK, moving on, because now I want some and I have to wait for it to be delivered because I just checked and it is available at Target.com.
In keeping with a few of my previous blog posts on skincare, I have to add my Foreo Luna 3 to the this list. I have been enjoying the massage feature on the Luna 3. You just download the app and follow the prompts to enjoy a relaxing face massage. I am so happy that I finally pulled the trigger on this beauty item after having it sitting in my shopping cart for quite a while. Because I can’t imagine getting any sort of spa treatments any time soon, I’m sure I’ll get my money’s worth in home facial massages from this little device.
Well that’s all I have for today. Do you have any items you find yourself reaching for repeatedly or maybe you have a favorite item you think I might enjoy? Please leave me a comment and share it with me. As always thanks so much for reading and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
