Guess who’s back, and just in time for fall! For the past month or so I have been envious of the dozens of posts for fall fashion and personally can not wait to start dressing for “sweater weather”. Unfortunately, here in the south eastern corner of the U.S. the temperature can still get pretty warm…..yes, even in November. So I figured one of the maxi skirts I rocked all summer would be a perfect piece to transition into fall. This skirt is so comfortable and I honestly can not get over how perfect the length is, which is the reason I own three of these skirts! I’m also a sucker for the side slits, which in my opinion give a little something extra to a basic maxi skirt. I topped the skirt with a simple graphic tee (btw, how great is this “bye felicia” tee?) and added a denim vest for a bit of edge. On this day I was headed out for some serious shopping, so I kept the comfort going by finishing off this look with a pair of pale blue converse.
It was nice and sunny when these pictures were snapped, but I knew that when the sun went down, so would the temperature. When this happened I simply swapped the denim vest for a denim jacket, added a light weight scarf and kept it moving.
Let me know if you’re already wearing fall weather fashion or how you’re facing the challenge of transitioning your wardrobe for fall?

A flowy maxi skirt is a perfect transition piece for your closet when going from summer to fall! It can be dressed up with heels for dinner, sandals for late summer, and boots for the fall.
