Hello lovelies! Spring is officially here and today’s outfit of the day displays how adding accents of lighter colors can easily transition staple darker pieces into Spring.
One of my major gripes about the plus size clothing industry has always been the lack of color choices, particularly in tall plus sizes. Luckily for me, gray is my favorite neutral and pretty much the workhorse color of my wardrobe. Topping this gray outfit with a pastel pink cardigan not only adds a pop of Spring, but offers the additional bonus of drawing the eye up.
This look is also lightened up when accessorized with this tan Nine West tote instead of a black or gray bag. I really like the look of mixing gray with brown or taupe, which makes these taupe heels the perfect complement to this outfit. If you haven’t noticed, the floral trend is everywhere this Spring, which is another reason I’ve chosen this shoe. Although its not a floral print, I love that this floral detail is understated and a bit unexpected!
