Hello lovelies! I have to confess that I have been enjoying the spring weather. Although I could do without the wasps and giant bumble bees buzzing around, I do relish the feeling of the sunshine accompanied by a slight breeze. However, I know its just a matter of days before the temperatures in south Georgia are up in the 90’s and I better enjoy it while I can. So I decided to shop my closet for pieces that are inline with the current spring trends and put together this ensemble centered around my floral print Coach tote.
In general, I’m not a huge fan of floral prints, but I thought this floral print Coach tote adds just enough floral and is a nice accent piece for this dress. What I love about this dress, in addition to the fab shade of blue, is the knot detail. It adds interest to a basic sheath dress and gives a bit of camouflage to the tummy area. This dress is considered a midi length, but just covers the knee on my 6’3″ frame. Midi length dresses are a great find when shopping in stores that may not carry items in tall lengths. If I wanted it shorter, I could always have it hemmed. (Said no tall girl ever!)
I’ve played up the nude colors in the tote by adding these wrap heels and a bauble necklace in soft shades of taupe.
